This is a placeholder post. A postholder place. A holding postplacer. A place of holding posts. A post of holding places? I’ve lost my mind. I hope I never find it. Y’know, Tolle talks about not operating from a place of Mind. Like he promotes mindlessness. But then, when he describes what that looks like, he’s describing what most people call “mindfulness.” Are those the same thing?
I used to think “reckless” was a weird word because recklessness often leads to wrecks. Like it should be called wreckfulness. But then I learned that the word “reck” means to pay heed to something, so that makes sense.
No etymological relation to “reckon” though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
